Motorola MOTOTRBO R7 Models
The MOTOTRBO R7 is available in two models. The R7 No Keypad (NKP) version and the R7 Full Keypad (FKP) version. The MOTOTRBO R7 FKP version offers the following advanced features.
This radio is also available in a “Capable” model as well as an “Enabled” model. The devices are physically the same, but the difference comes in the software that is activated on the radio. The Enabled models come with the following advanced features already activated and do not need to be purchased separately:

Frequency Compatibility
The MOTOTRBO R7 portable two-way radio is compatible with the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) and Very High Frequency (VHF) bands, as well as 800/900 MHz operation.
Specifically, the VHF model supports 136-174 MHz at a power output rating of up to 5 watts. The UHF model supports 403-512 MHz at a power output rating of up to 4 watts. The 800/900 model supports 806-941 MHz at a power output rating of up to 2.5 watts.

MOTOTRBO R7 Programming
The Motorola MOTOTRBO R7 radio is programmed utilizing MOTOTRBO CPS 2.0 and is compatible with Radio Management software. The PMKN4265 mini-GCAI USB programming cable or the PMKN4231 mini-GCAI USB programming and test/alignment cable will be required for programming if the device is not being programmed over WiFi.
